Luzme is awesome in that it helps me figure out how I can purchase a book for the best price possible, but what if I don't want to buy a book? Sometimes, I just want to borrow a book, but to do so, I have to manually search the book lending websites. I would really like Luzme to list ebooks and audiobooks available to borrow from overdrive.com or other book lending websites.13 votes
This is a great idea, thanks
Column for available format e.g. epub, mobi0 votes
Can you explain what the problem this would solve for you?
As far as I can see, there is a 1-to-1 correspondence between vendors and book formats: Amazon→Kindle, Apple→iBook, etc and everyone else→Adobe
So isn’t this just duplication?
Happy to help if I can, but I don’t understand the problem yet
Glad to see you have included Sainsbury's eBooks. Perhaps you will consider Blinkbox Books (Tesco) when they are up and running ?6 votes
They don’t have an affiliate system, so I can’t make any money when you buy a book from them. I’m thinking about bundling support for such stores into a subscription service; would you be willing to pay a small monthly fee to get access to the prices from more stores like this?
I love Luzme and rely on it for my ebook purchases. Is there a way I can make a small donation to your activities?

You need to create an Android app0 votes
In the homepage I want to be able to choose a specific store and country for the items displayed under the "Recent Changes" tab. Many users invest on a single platform such as Amazon Kindle and are not interested on purchasing from other stores like Apple or Kobo.54 votes
Just a quick update, I’m making progress on this, but it’s coinciding with some other major changes that I need to make. So I just wanted to let you know I haven’t forgotten about it.
The plan is to have 2 sets of data; (a) the recent changes, but only including the stores you actually follow; and (b) recent changes, but only for books on your watchlist.
I really want this myself :) so will be very glad when it’s done…
I think you should include prices from feedbooks.com4 votes
It would be neat to have the publisher name in the watch column, it would make it easier for me to figure out if the publisher accepts coupons.

Sorry if this has already been suggested, buy could we integrate searching on digital comic sites like comixology and black horse?0 votes
Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll take a look at that once I’ve finished adding in a few more countries.
If you could add the URLs for the sites you’re interested in, that would be useful.
On 'My Watchlist' page can you add a column for the publication date for new books? You could use the date relating to the Best Price.
I've got a number of books on my list due to be published in the next couple of months, but I have to look at each book individually to find add when its happening.0 votes
Yep, great idea! thanks

Two of the three top suggestions are for mobile apps. Exposing an API would be the first step in that direction. It would also allow complementary services to tie in with Luzme, such as recommendation engines, social sites based on reading, 'shopping assistants' to automatically buy books when they reach a certain price, and so on.4 votes
Luzme used to have a REST API. I removed it when the cost of maintaining it exceeded the benefit of providing it.
I’m open to suggestions about combining with complementary services if there is a monetisation model that makes sense.
Anyone that’s interested in that, please get in touch.
This could be a difficult one... I suspect companies like Amazon have different pricing for different countries. It would be nice to see the prices like they are from within a certain country. E.g. the prices on Amazon.com, as seen from within The Netherlands. I guess this would mean having an actual IP address from The Netherlands (or other countries). Like I said, this one might be difficult. But it would increase the accuracy of the prices shown!
Thanks for Luzme, keep up the good work!7 votes
Maybe add the Dutch branch of Kobo books? They both sell Dutch and international titles and often have better prices than Amazon.com (viewed from within The Netherlands). http://www.kobobooks.nl1 vote
I would love to see a mobile edition of Luzme.com since I use my iPhone about 60% of the time these days.
Thanks. CBiggs0 votes
Prices are not returned in book searches, so not sure if they are being picked up for watchlist emails. Search left running for 40 minutes plus and no results, although those stores are selected as my stores. Apple result returned immediately.7 votes
I have set up Wish Lists in both Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.es, and I would like to be able to add these to my Watchlist, but I am afraid only Amazon.com wishlists are available... It would be nice to have this feature. Otherwise, great job!!! the site is (almost) perfect.1 vote
The UK one should be picked up; it may just be taking some time. I’ll check.
But I can’t see a wishlist for you on the Amazon.es site, are you using a different email address? If so, add that as an alternate in your settings.
For example: I would like to be to updated when Christine Feehan has a new book out for her series GhostWalkers, but I am not interested in getting updates for her Carpathian series.
Is this feature available?8 votes
Hi, thanks for the suggestion.
It isn’t currently possible, but it is a good idea. I’ll think about how I can implement it.
if a search has come up with a number of books eg a series, include a tick box on each item and an ADD SELECTED TO WISHLIST button6 votes
I like it. Will bear that in mind when I redo the way the search results work
Have a list of top deals on the homepage. Show the most discounted books that have a lot of people watching.
