Luzme App
Could you make an app where we could search for a book from stores and overdrive libraries, download them and read them all in one place? There could be a £1/month subscription model in order to keep our books in the cloud. I'm just tired of the lack of freedom and choice we are given with digital content.

Delete multiple items from watchlist
Add ability to remove more than one book at a time from the watchlist.
3 votesThanks for the suggestion, yes, I’ll add this as part of the next set of changes to the watchlist

Use the idea of "Nudge" to direct your users
"Nudge" means to make what you want your users to do the default, and require them to consciously change things to deviate from that.
For example, when you email the customers, make the return address be "no-reply," or a dedicated feedback address, though no-reply generally works better. Then have a note at the bottom of the message that says not to reply, but to go to the website to post feedback, and have a link to the form right there. If someone really needs to email you, that's fine, but put the means to do that on the website, either…

I love this web site, you've saved me loads already! If you could also search my local digital lending library it would be perfect.

I think there may already an suggestion for adding Overdrive; do they supply your local library?

watchlist refresh
A refresh button on the watchlist, for when you know you've added something to a third-party wishlist, but it hasn't been pulled through yet.
Alternatively, just a countdown timer to when the next sync will happen.
1 voteThanks for the suggestion! I’m doing the final testing to a new version of the watchlist which should provide an automatic refresh when new data arrives; and also hopefully fix the speed issues.
But I hadn’t thought of adding a button to schedule a sync of the external sites; nice one!

Show book alerts in author's list
Would it be possible to have book alerts marked when you look at an author's list?
1 voteOK, thanks. I understand.
Yes, that looks feasible. Will add it to the list of changes I’m going to make in that area.
Thanks for the suggestion.

target='_blank' on the links
change your links to "target='_blank" please - otherwise we have to hit the back button and loose stuff on the page !
0 votesThat’s supposed to be the default; can you give me an example where it’s not happening please?

Improve price graph
I like the price graph feature , but in Firefox, at least in my combination of Windows/Firefox, it doesn't work properly (price font too big for container). Also difficult in ipad w/o mouse. Would love a pop-out graph with date along x-axis. Could be done fairly easily with div container. Love the site overall

More Watchlists
Allow a second List, or some way of sorting according to your own criteria. Or allow a second account to the same email address, so I can make two or more watchlists that way.

Be able to choose a specific store and country for the homepage's Recent Changes tab results
In the homepage I want to be able to choose a specific store and country for the items displayed under the "Recent Changes" tab. Many users invest on a single platform such as Amazon Kindle and are not interested on purchasing from other stores like Apple or Kobo.
54 votesJust a quick update, I’m making progress on this, but it’s coinciding with some other major changes that I need to make. So I just wanted to let you know I haven’t forgotten about it.
The plan is to have 2 sets of data; (a) the recent changes, but only including the stores you actually follow; and (b) recent changes, but only for books on your watchlist.
I really want this myself :) so will be very glad when it’s done…

Simplify creation of author alerts
Allow creation of author alerts from a list. Allow typing or pasting a list of names into a simple text box. When the list is done, clicking 'submit' would search for those author names and list results, perhaps with a sample book or series for confirmation. We could either check a box by correct names or click a 'follow' button for each one.
This wouldn't be used frequently, but would be much faster than the current system for those wanting to add a long list of favorite authors - e.g., when replicating a physical library.
2 votesgreat idea! thanks. I’ll work out how to do something like this

Published dates
It would be great to see when the book was published.

Add support for borrowing ebooks (Overdrive)
Luzme is awesome in that it helps me figure out how I can purchase a book for the best price possible, but what if I don't want to buy a book? Sometimes, I just want to borrow a book, but to do so, I have to manually search the book lending websites. I would really like Luzme to list ebooks and audiobooks available to borrow from overdrive.com or other book lending websites.

add alerts for when Luzme first tracks a book as available
I have several books on my watchlist for which Luzme has been unable to find an ebook copy. When I log in to my account I can see that some of these are slowly having prices added for them as Luzme finds copies/the publisher releases them (I know this is the case for some, at least). It would be nice to get an alert the first time Luzme finds the book for sale in addition to when the price drops.

Alternative to building a mobile app...
Alternative to building a mobile app...
Rather than an iOS app, I'd be happy if there was an iPhone friendly mobile site or webapp like what forecast.io does.
