  2. Expand author tracking to implement alerts for a price drop on any book by an author

    It would be great to include the ability to send an alert whenever any book by a given author drops in price.

  3. Use OpenLibrary API to show descriptions of books

    I often add books to my watchlist on a recommendation from somebody and then go back to the watchlist and can't remember what the book was supposed to be about. It would be great if the book page gave a description of the book. One easy way to do this (without having people enter in data) may be to use the OpenLibrary API:

  4. Goodreads custom watchlist

    I would like to specify the shelf name for Goodreads integration. By default it could remain "to-read", but since I already own many of the books on my to-read list, I would create a shelf containing only the books for which I want to monitor the price and it would cut down on the number of emails.

    I don’t yet have the iPhone/iPad app but I have just upgraded to a more mobile friendly version which should work a whole lot better on a phone/tablet.

    Please let me know of any problems; I’m aware of one on a Nexus 5 phone which I’m trying to replicate. Let me know of any others.

    And this is the next step towards having an app..

    It would be useful to know what you want from an app that you wouldn’t get from a mobile-friendly website, please drop me a line and tell me what you’re looking for.

  6. add facility to request books to be added to your database when they are not found on search

    I want to add Death's Head: Day of the Damned (by David Gunn) to my watch list but your search does not find it although I know Kobo has it listed, perhaps you could add a button allowing a request for you to add it to your database

  7. AmazonSmile scheme sales

    Do you get commission on AmazonSmile scheme sales? If so, it would be great to receive a link to the smile webpage for items (it's the same web address, but the www is replaced with smile).

    I hope you get commission on Smile sales - I'd hate to have to choose between supporting you and supporting my favourite charity!

    On some searches the Best Price is not showing the lowest of the prices in the results.

    Hi Luzme,

    It says on your website:

    I have a Kindle and I only buy from Amazon. What's in it for me?

    Luzme sends you an email alert when a book on your watchlist drops in price.

    Or, when an author you follow releases a new book.

    I've already got the books I'm waiting for in a watchlist, do I have to
    add them all again?

    No, you don't! We can automatically watch public wishlists at Amazon,
    Goodreads and LibraryThing.

    However the problem is that I have an amazon wishlist called 'Books',
    and Luzme is not picking up on it.…

  10. Remember preferences

    When I adjust the number of rows per page and the ordering of the items it would be good if that could become the default until I change it again, rather than resetting each time the page reloads.

    The ability to add all from a given author to your watchlist. I think right now you can only subscribe to their future books (unless I've missed how to do this).

  15. Add file type information

    Option to search for specific versions - not just PDF, but epub, mobi etc and DRM vs non-DRM. Appreciate it might be difficult to search for all variants, so perhaps a couple of addition fields could be added - 1 to show file type, 2 to show DRM/non-DRM

  16. Add a 'most wanted' field

    Add a 'preference' field, eg, 1 for Want it Now down to 3 for Want it cheap ... and allow us to sort our lists using this field. This might help alleviate the need for multiple lists in some cases.

  17. Display dates for price points

    In the view for a book, it's possible to see price development, i.e. what the current price is and at what other prices the book was sold, but it's not possible to determine when those other prices were valid. I'd like to see the dates as well, to see how frequent a price drop occurs.

  18. List Novels only or List Comics only option in author alerts

    Some authors write comics and novels. It would be nice to sort the list or alert only one category for those of us with a restricted interest.

  19. Submit Missing Stores

    I'm seeing a lot of books on here that aren't listed as being available from stores I've seen them on. For example, I'm looking at a book that only links to Kobo, even though it's also sold on Amazon and Google. Maybe there could be a form on each book's page to submit a link to where it is on unlisted stores?

  20. Watchlist limit not fixed

    I use your service regularly and purchase many books through your links
    when I receive notice of price changes for books on my watchlist. I
    find the default of 10 items per page quite a nuisance. I change the
    items per page to 50 so I can see my entire watchlist but every time I
    look up something and then go back to my watchlist it is back to 10. It
    would be helpful if you could eliminate the limit, increase it or allow
    the user to set their own default in settings.
