Implement Luzme as a Calibre plug-in
If the Luzme watchlist could be incorporated as a plug-in to Calibre, it would produce a wonderul one-stop ebook management system.
I admit this is one of those "great idea, but I don't know how it would work" suggestions, but I'm sure I'm not the only person who thinks it would be a marriage made in heaven!

Leave it with me :)

have a watch list for series.
For example: I would like to be to updated when Christine Feehan has a new book out for her series GhostWalkers, but I am not interested in getting updates for her Carpathian series.
Is this feature available?8 votesHi, thanks for the suggestion.
It isn’t currently possible, but it is a good idea. I’ll think about how I can implement it.

Check publisher's daily deals
(imported from GetSatisdaction)
Hello,
Some publishers offer a daily deal, some even provide a neat RSS.
O'Reilly: http://feeds.feedburner.com/oreilly/news
InformIT: http://www.informit.com/deals/deal_rs... (has issues, sometimes does not update)

Blinkbox Books ?
Glad to see you have included Sainsbury's eBooks. Perhaps you will consider Blinkbox Books (Tesco) when they are up and running ?
6 votesThey don’t have an affiliate system, so I can’t make any money when you buy a book from them. I’m thinking about bundling support for such stores into a subscription service; would you be willing to pay a small monthly fee to get access to the prices from more stores like this?

Expand author tracking to implement alerts for a price drop on any book by an author
It would be great to include the ability to send an alert whenever any book by a given author drops in price.

Add link to free ebook from author's website
Hello,
I just looked up Accelerando on your site:
http://luzme.com/author/Charles%20Stross/book/Accelerando
the cheapest price shown is £4.99.In fact, the ebook is available DRM-free in a number of formats from Mr Stross's website:

add these Australian stores
From mobileread suggestion:
"Borders (borders.com.au)
Angus and Robertson (http://www.angusrobertson.com.au/ebooks)
Both these are given by Sony Aus as purchase points because Sony does not have it's own Aus store.

Simplify creation of author alerts
Allow creation of author alerts from a list. Allow typing or pasting a list of names into a simple text box. When the list is done, clicking 'submit' would search for those author names and list results, perhaps with a sample book or series for confirmation. We could either check a box by correct names or click a 'follow' button for each one.
This wouldn't be used frequently, but would be much faster than the current system for those wanting to add a long list of favorite authors - e.g., when replicating a physical library.
2 votesgreat idea! thanks. I’ll work out how to do something like this

Add all books in a series to watch list.
I read LOTS of fantasy fiction and they nearly always come in series. I love how your site gives me both all the books in the series and the order of the books. It would be great if I could just add all of the books in a series to my watch list with a single click and to have a link to the "next book in the series" on any of the books in the series individual page.
2 votesThanks for the suggestion. I’ll see what I can do.
By the way, if you are on a book’s page, and remove it from your watch list, you will get a popup asking if you want the next one in the series.

"Angry Robot / Robot Trading Co bookstore please
Says it all above...
1 voteThanks for the suggestion. I’ve contacted them to see whether they have an Atom feed of their catalog; if so, it would be a simple job to add them. If not, I’ll still add them but it will take longer.

Support for Russian language and Russian online books stores
It would be nice to be able to track books in Russian language as well as several Russian book stores like Ozon, Librusec and others.
1 voteда, конечно. Пожалуйста, мне нужно знать больше магазинов, которые продают русских книг. Добавьте их здесь.
Apologies if that makes no sense; my Russian is very very rusty… Please add more Russian bookstores below :)

Stores from other countries
Provide comparison from stores of other countries (Brazil).
1 voteI’m very keen to expand this out to other countries, but I need to get the basic engine working better first. Brazil is definitely on the list; who are the stores I should support there?

Add a 'most wanted' field
Add a 'preference' field, eg, 1 for Want it Now down to 3 for Want it cheap ... and allow us to sort our lists using this field. This might help alleviate the need for multiple lists in some cases.
1 voteInteresting idea! Not sure I quite understand the purpose of the ‘Want It Now’ setting; wouldn’t you just buy it now?

Multiple pages of results
Is it possible to see more pages of results when the author has a lot of books? E.g. searching on Neil Gaiman only lists books up to those starting with F.
0 votesThanks for the suggestion; yes, I’ll add this comment to the list of things to work on when I update that code
