Add sainsburysebooks
Please add http://www.sainsburysebooks.co.uk/ if you possibly can.
It's probably the most important ePUB site in the UK, being backed by Penguin, Harper Collins and Random House – and therefore a site where these publishers' books get exclusive discounts for the EPUB versions.

Watchlist - remember preferred number of entries
I like to see all the entries on one page (maybe there could be an "all" option?) but every time you go into Watchlist, the default is10 entries and I have to change it to 100. Could there be a settings preference for this please?
9 votesI think I’ve fixed this, please let me know if there’s any problems.

Allow specification of a threshold to send price change e-mails
Love getting the price change mails, but not when the price of a $7.99 book changes by $0.03 to $7.96. I would love to specify a dollar amount or percentage for change that triggers the change e-mail (decreased prices most useful). For example, I could say 10% and for the above example I wouldn't receive an e-mail unless the new price was $7.19 or lower.
A complication arises if the price decreases $0.05 (or whatever) over multiple days. The site would need to know at what price I added the book at to alert me when the price eventually reaches…
9 votesI’ve implemented a change to address this.
There’s now a minimum change of 1% needed before the alert is sent.
It’s not user-configurable, that adds some extra complexity I’d like to avoid; but let’s see how this standard threshold works out.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Repeating author alerts
My watched/favourite authors are set to alert when they publish a new book. The trouble is the email notifications keep telling me the same new books are due for release in coming months. It would be great if you could change it to alert only once per book.
Thanks8 votesI’ve changed the way the author alerts work, so now you’ll only get the one alert.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Author Watching
Ability to watch for new books from favourite authors so you can catch both new releases and old books finally released in ebook format
7 votesI’ve implemented this; please try it out and tell me what you think. You can add the ‘Author Alert’ either from the author’s page or when you’re removing a book by that author from your wishlist.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Currency Choice
It would be useful if the currencies could be all displayed in your preferred currency - ie. Euro, Sterling, Dollars at the Visa conversion rate so it is easier to decide where to buy a book. Love the site though and thanks.
7 votesI’ve added this now. Still working out a few wrinkles so there’s something that doesn’t look right, please let me know. But otherwise, this is done.

Watchlist - have a way to see which authors you are following
I love the new ability to follow authors and to add the next in the series to the watchlist - thankyou for that. I don't however seem to be able to see which authors I am following (perhaps it's just me) - could they show up in the watchlist, either in a separate section, or just in alphabetical order with no other details? Otherwise I suspect I'm going to be following several authors two or three times!
6 votesDone. You can now see your authors under the “My Authors” menu option.
Thanks for the suggestion

Make your site look a little less amateur
It's all a bit Mickey Mouse at the moment. It doesn't work on iPhone or BlackBerry and text just looks horrible
5 votesI’m going to close this because although the site isn’t perfect yet, it’s difficult to see how this request can ever be considered done, it’s too wide-ranging.
But please make any suggestions about specific things that would help the site work better for you.

Provide a "High/Low watermark" reference with the price
(imported from GetSatisfaction)
Hello,
It would be very useful if you could provide some insight on when to buy or not a book. I think the best way is to provide historical high and low prices with date.
Now, it would be awesome if you could also provide a chart with the prices history. Thanks,

Option to not receive price rise emails.
Because this isn't implemented, I will be de-registering. It is very irritating to get multiple emails regarding the same book when it rises in price by a few cents. There really needs to be the option to select which emails you want to receive - price drops or rises. It's a shame as apart from this, the site is good.

Amazon now has a store in Australia - amazon.com.au
AU $ is used
4 votesI’ve added the old Amazon USA back in. It should show up as “Amazon US (AU)”.
Let me know how that works for you

Some means of telling when Luzme has finished searching ?
When there are a lot of results for a search I can't tell when the search has finished ? Didn't there used to be a little whirligig on a previous version of Luzme indicating that it was still searching ?
3 votesIt doesn’t stop searching while you have the window open. Background processes keep updating the available data

improve search
ie 'a cold blooded business' search doesn't find 'a cold-blooded business' -is it possible to ignore hypens and other punctuation characters in the titles database?
2 votesI’ve changed the search algorithm so this works now

Datestamp watchlist recent updates page
On the automatically updated wachlist page, show the date/time that the price changed
2 votesI’ve fixed this in the new version, that’s currently in beta testing. If you’d like to take a look, you’ll find it at http://beta.luzme.com.

Sort watchlist by date added to Amazon wishlist
I love the Amazon wishlist import, but the alphabetical ordering is quite different than my ordering at Amazon, where items are ordered by most recently-added to least recently added. I would love to have that same option in Luzme as those are my most pertinent books for the moment. Books added manually to Luzme can take their place in order according to add date.

Restrict opt-in for updates to a single or multiple platforms
I'd like to restrict my updates to Kindle only, but that might be down to my lack of technical knowledge about readers, etc.
1 voteHi Claire
If you login and then go to the settings page, and deselect all vendors except Amazon, then you’ll only get updates from Amazon.
Also, if you deselect all countries except the one you’re interested in e.g. the UK, then you’ll only get updates from Amazon UK.
Hope that helps

Kobo users
I find the price of the Kobo books very expensive considering we are saving on piublishing etc.
How do I know if these books can be read on my Kobo E-reader. It is the latest colour touch screen one.
The format I believe is DRM EPUB.
Can i see this somewhere in the format or file properties before I download it.1 voteI think this is a question for the Kobo website, rather than for Luzme. I’m sure you can see the details on the Kobo book page; also, I’d be surprised if you couldn’t read a Kobo-bought book on a Kobo device.

Update book prices more frequently
It's not a good sign when a new user registers and beings using your service and sees a book with a price that was last checked in August (it is now the end of October of the same year). This seems to go totally against your method of operation. Maybe I misunderstand how Luzme functions? But, how can I obtain alerts based on price drops when priced aren't regularly checked?
1 voteWhen you register, your books start getting checked. It’s not possible to continuously monitor the 2 million books in the database every day, so the system concentrates on those which are known to be of interest to Luzme users.
