    Created a UserVoice account just so I could vote for this feature. I have used this on another service in the past and have found the feature super-useful. :)

    Since you already have a feature where we can be notified if an Author we're tracking releases a New book, perhaps a way to approach alerts for any book by that Author is to provide a way to view a list of all ebooks by that author then easily be able to Add All (or remove a few that maybe we don't wish to track) to our books Watchlist. Then, from there everything would work like normal. The big benefit (in my experience) of having alerts based on an Author is that I don't have to manually look up every book by that Author if I know I'm interested in most everything they publish. But you do need to have a way to then exclude books from that list later as you purchase books (and thus no longer need notifications about those titles). Which is why I'm thinking it could make sense to just approach this as making a way to more easily see and add all books by a given author to our list.
