If the Luzme watchlist could be incorporated as a plug-in to Calibre, it would produce a wonderul one-stop ebook management system.
I admit this is one of those "great idea, but I don't know how it would work" suggestions, but I'm sure I'm not the only person who thinks it would be a marriage made in heaven!16 votes
This gets filed under the “that’s such an obviously good idea, I should have thought of it myself”
Leave it with me :)
Contingency by Peggy Martinez is showing as $3.99 on Smashwords, but Smashwords no longer holds it. There must be a bug/link missing somewhere.1 vote
I want to add Death's Head: Day of the Damned (by David Gunn) to my watch list but your search does not find it although I know Kobo has it listed, perhaps you could add a button allowing a request for you to add it to your database9 votes
That’s a great idea, thanks. And should be quite easy to implement, so I should be able to do that pretty quickly.
I currently use the Android book catalogue app as a management tool for my book wishlist, adding titles by scanning barcodes when I'm browsing in bookshops. I generally end up either buying the ebook immediately, or adding it to my luzme watchlist to keep its price under review.
It would be useful to add such titles to my watchlist less manually - either by scanning barcodes directly into luzme or by synching from book catalogue (I'd be happily change the app I use to be able to do this!).4 votes
Thanks for the suggestion. Yes, I’ll do this when I do the apps.
I don’t yet have the iPhone/iPad app but I have just upgraded to a more mobile friendly version which should work a whole lot better on a phone/tablet.
Please let me know of any problems; I’m aware of one on a Nexus 5 phone which I’m trying to replicate. Let me know of any others.
And this is the next step towards having an app..
It would be useful to know what you want from an app that you wouldn’t get from a mobile-friendly website, please drop me a line and tell me what you’re looking for.
I keep track of my books using Excel. It would be nice to be able to export my watchlist as a csv file.3 votes
It would be nice to be able to print your watchlist with price information shown. If you try to print it as is, you only see the book title and some jumbled text but no prices.1 vote
I just looked up Accelerando on your site:
the cheapest price shown is £4.99.
In fact, the ebook is available DRM-free in a number of formats from Mr Stross's website:
I'm a fan of the Dune books. At the moment, there are a bunch of trilogies on there, but it would be nice if they were all grouped under a meta-series of "Dune". It could then show them in order, too, as that isn't immediately obvious.
On that note, you have a bit of a mess with these - there is "Heroes of Dune" and "Heroes of Dune trilogy", one of them empty. Same with:
Legends of Dune
and Prelude to Dune2 votes
Searching for "A supposedly fun" doesn't bring up the David Foster Wallace book however you can find it by search the Author's list of Books. (Note that I didn't use quotes when searching). Strange.1 voteAdminRachel Willmer (Owner, Luzme) responded
Thanks for letting me know. It’s really useful to get examples like this, where something isn’t working quite right. I’ll check it out.
I was looking at some of my watchlist and one of the books shows a lot higher than the Kobo price o the Canadian site. The book was I Michael Bennett which is showing as 8.99 on Kobo.1 vote
I am assuming you don't already have this facility and that I am entering the ISBN number incorrectly ?1 voteAdminRachel Willmer (Owner, Luzme) responded
Yes, it is possible to search by ISBN. What’s the one you’re having trouble with?

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve contacted them to see whether they have an Atom feed of their catalog; if so, it would be a simple job to add them. If not, I’ll still add them but it will take longer.
Trying to delete a book. If I tap the Delete button it changes to Add. If I go away and come back the book is still there with a Delete button. I dont see a Save button.1 vote
I think that you’re describing is what I have planned as a ‘My Library’ feature.
From mobileread suggestion:
Angus and Robertson (http://www.angusrobertson.com.au/ebooks)
Both these are given by Sony Aus as purchase points because Sony does not have it's own Aus store.

I’m looking for volunteers to help me test this; please get in touch if you can help.
